1. DIAGI: cause codes. These are OS independent.

• General information on the cause of the error

• 0 <= nn < 500 (local code), nn + 500 (remote code)

• Frequent diags:
0                – transfer ended, waiting for delivery window
110/610      – file not found (local or remote)
160            – file not found (no transfer in HOLD status)
240            – network read timeout
302            – network link cut-off
408/909      – unknown partner
414            – transfer start time out of authorized delivery window
418/918      – CNXIN or CNXOUT or CNXINOUT reached

2. DIAGP: diagnostic message

• provides an additional hint

• protocol, network, system diagnostic

• PeSIT compression rate when transfer has ended (CP nn%)
